Image Control Photography was pleased to carry out the wedding photography for David & Kelly late 2014. The ceremony took place at Parklands, Quendon Hall in the beautiful (and mostly underestimated county of Essex.
The weather was a little dull with very little cloud formation and to be quite frank, I was a typical over case boring day that as a photographer you want to avoid at all cost. However, you can’t choose the weather on the wedding day thus you need to do the best you can. The photograph below showed David & Kelly walking in the lovely gardens at Parklands. The cloud is pretty much a white out with nothing going for it at all.
The photograph below is the same photograph above but with a better sky which has been cut and pasted onto it. The trees and ornaments had to be carefully cut out from the original photograph. Our bride and groom where delighted with result which when you come to think about it, is all that counts.
I come from the time when you only had film cameras, wedding photography has now changed so much. Digital cameras hadn’t been thought of. I those days this kind of interference was not an option and the biggest problem was getting the colours right. It could be said that in these days you don’t need to be a god photographer just a good technician. I disagree somewhat you need to have the experience to get into the right place at the right time and then have the computer skills to make the imaged as you want them.
