11. Gee, they got a band….. Remember the Music.
I remember one wedding we photographer some time ago. The groom didn’t want any music, thus all the guests were sitting around drinking. The wedding reception felt like a pub night, and the event ended around 9.30. Always arrange music as you don’t want to have your guests just sitting around looking pretty. Make sure you book a DJ or band that knows how to get the reception going. Plus, you will want the obligatory first dance photograph
12. Does my bum look big in the dress????
Many people want to lose a little weight for their wedding and look great in their wedding photographs. If this is the case, remember the most new trendy diets don’t work. More important is don’t by a tight dress and then “Slim” into it. It seldom works. A tight wedding dress where you can’t breathe is pretty uncomfortable to wear all day, and fainting halfway through the ceremony will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. Photographs of the bride failing over at the alter looks good at our peoples weddings; don’t let it happen in yours.
Try to eat healthy, or if you are like me…buy a bigger dress. (Yes I know, only a man would say that)
After the stress of the ceremony, and the nice meal you will have eaten, you will want something nice and sweet. Remember, there are LOTS of suppliers who make all sorts of cakes with different flavours and design. Try them all. Remember, the cake you will have spent a fortune on will be seen in your wedding photographs.
